About Jason Sparks

I am committed to truly knowing you—not just your struggles, but who you are at your core. I want to understand what matters most to you: the values that guide your life and the relationships that shape your world, whether they bring joy or challenge. I offer a space where you can be deeply known without judgment, and where your dreams, hopes, and fears are honored. With care and curiosity, I walk alongside you to uncover your strengths and support your journey toward healing and fulfillment.

I have a particular interest in helping men who are navigating personal insecurities, relationship challenges, or questions of identity and purpose. I’m also passionate about working with couples at all stages of their relationship—from dating and engagement to marriage and long-term partnership. Whether clients are seeking to strengthen their connection, repair trust, improve communication, or navigate a difficult season, I work to create a supportive space where both partners feel heard and understood. I also find deep meaning in supporting individuals through the complexities of grief and loss. Whether you are seeking counseling as an individual, a couple, or a family, I aim to offer a space of safety, insight, and genuine connection.

My clinical work is grounded in a wide range of experiences, including my time in Christian and Catholic private practices, where I integrated faith-based principles with evidence-based therapy to support clients in a holistic way. I’ve also provided counseling to college students at Christendom College, helping them navigate the pressures of academic life, relationships, and personal growth. Earlier in my career, I led group therapy in Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization settings, gaining a deep appreciation for the structure, support, and sense of community that foster meaningful recovery.

I tailor my approach to each person, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. In couples and family therapy, I often use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen bonds, improve communication, and rebuild trust.

I am available for both in-person and virtual appointments.
